Vice President, Client Service

Chasing Talent has partnered with a North American marketing communications consultancy for an important strategic hire, Vice President Client Service.

This role will see the VP Client Service lead a team of public relations, marketing, influencer relations and event professionals providing strategic guidance and oversight across a roster of lifestyle, CPG brands and consumer clients in both Canada and US. It is intended for this hire to transition to President in a two-to-three-year trajectory.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

·       A tenured leader with experience in overseeing integrated marketing communications initiatives.

·       At least 15 years’ experience. Five years in brand strategy, agency and consumer or CPG brands.

·       Marketing communications, public relations agency experience is preferred.

WHAT YOUR EXPERTISE LOOKS LIKE

·       We are looking for a marketing communications professional with expertise in:

·       Integrated marketing strategy

·       Digital marketing, public relations, influencer relations, events

·       Reporting analytics in influencer marketing and affiliate marketing

·       Impactful influencer marketing and affiliate marketing initiatives that deliver a solid return on investment positively impacting the bottom line

·       Digital marketing initiatives and how they can be incorporated into integrated marketing communications programs

·       Media landscapes in Canada and US

·       Impactful media approaches that navigate the constantly changing landscape

·       Award winning campaigns and programs

·       Demonstrable leadership skills having worked with teams larger than ten, mentoring, guiding and growing skillsets and people

·       Data, whether this be to track team KPIs or demonstrate effectiveness of a campaign or program

·       Gold star client service

·       Solving marketing challenges and providing creative solutions

·       Driving and leading retention and strategic growth

Above all, we are looking for a passionate marketing communications professional who is eager to produce award-winning campaigns and is excited to work in the ever-changing marketing communications landscape.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING

Working closely with the President, you will be responsible for:

·       Creative strategy for new and existing clients beginning with leading the brainstorming sessions

·       Leading the team by providing and encouraging creative solutions

·       Seeking out new business opportunities both organically and net new

·       Developing strategies and solutions for clients based on an understanding of their objectives and analysis of their business

·       Leading the agency team to success including achieving client KPIs, time management, budgets, performance

·       Tracking, analyzing results, performance, monitoring and resetting where needed

·       Team mentorship

·       Budget management

In this role you are an advocate for building out awareness and reputation to drive leads and foresee opportunities. You are on top of the game, looking for new and evolving technologies and incorporating into the agency.

WORK MODEL

As a leader, this role requires in office attendance of at least two/ three days per week. The ideal hire loves a collaborative, team driven, creative, in person work environment.

TIMING

In selecting the best talent for this incredible opportunity there will be several interviews and discussions with the President, before meeting with senior team members and colleagues. Ideal start is March 2025 or sooner.

COMPENSATION

$150,000 base salary
